Recurring Memberships

 


 

Q: How long are memberships valid for?

All memberships are annual and based on the calendar year (January 1st to December 31st). If you purchase a membership before November 15th, it will be valid until the end of the same calendar year. If you purchase a membership on or after November 15th, it will be valid until the end of the following calendar year.

 


 

Q: What is the difference between a one-year and recurring membership?

Both memberships have the same length, price, and benefits. The only difference is that the recurring membership will auto-renew every year by charging your payment method on file. Our recurring membership ensures continuity in your membership and associated benefits by eliminating the need for you to re-register each year and fill out our membership renewal form. Q: What credentials are required for membership?

Each membership category has it's own set of required credentials for membership. The pricing page has links to each membership category and provides detailed descriptions of what credentials (if any) are required to be eligible for membership. Please note that the credentials required for membership may not be the same as the credentials required to be eligible for listing on our Provider Map. The information for each membership category will clearly identify the differences.

 


 

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

For one-year memberships, we accept all major credit cards as well as payment via PayPal. For recurring memberships, at this time we only accept payment via PayPal.

 


 

Q: How do recurring memberships work?

Recurring memberships are identical to one-year memberships in their price, length, and provided benefits. The only difference is that a recurring membership will auto-renew at the end of each calendar year. Rather than needing to login to the CSS website and complete a membership renewal form, you can simply register once for a recurring membership, and then we will automatically charge your payment method on file each year (which you can change at any time).

On or around December 20th of each year, if your membership is about to expire, you will receive an email confirmation notifying you that your membership is preparing to auto-renew. Should you wish, you may cancel your membership at this time and no charges will be made.

On or around January 1st of each year, if your membership is about to expire, we will charge your PayPal account for an additional year of membership, and renew your membership automatically. You will then receive an email notification of the charge from PayPal.

 


 

Q: How do I change my payment details?

To change how you pay for your recurring membership (or update the expiry date of your credit card), login to your PayPal account and follow their guide on how to change the way you pay. Be sure to do this at least 5 days before your membership expires to make certain your renewal is charged to the correct payment method.

 


 

Q: How do I cancel a recurring membership?

To cancel a recurring membership, login to your PayPal account and follow their guide on how to stop an automatic payment. Be sure to do this at least 5 days before your membership expires to avoid being charged for the next membership year.

 


 

Q: How do I switch back to a one-year membership?

To change a recurring membership to a one-year membership, you must first cancel your recurring membership. After cancelling, you can simply purchase a new one-year membership.

 


 

Q: Where/how is payment information stored?

We do not store or track your payment information. All payment details are managed securely by PayPal, who use bank-level encryption to keep your information safe. Any changes to your payment details are done through PayPal so that we never see or have access to your credit card information.
