Participate in a three-day intensive workshop focused on key aspects and critical unanswered questions in the field of sleep biology, between June 4 and 7, 2025! SleepCamp 2025 offers unique opportunities for small group interactions between sleep scientists at all stages of their careers, providing a more personalized experience than larger conferences. Enhance your knowledge and connect with leading professionals in the field.
SleepCamp honours and builds upon the legacy of the Basic Sleep Training Workshop at Lake Arrowhead, organized by Professor Michael Chase, an inspirational leader and sleep scientist. A core mission of Lake Arrowhead was to support and educate the next generation of sleep scientists. The mission of SleepCamp is to build on this tradition by emphasizing the training experience with a series of workshops, talks, and panels that engages students of all levels, combined with one-on-one interaction with leading sleep scientists. Its location at the Camp Casey Conference Center in Washington state captures many elements of the original Lake Arrowhead meeting in that it supports intensive interactions and opportunities to enjoy the natural setting. SleepCamp embodies the original spirit of Lake Arrowhead by limiting the number of participants to foster one-on-one interactions. Preference for attendance is given to trainees (students and postdoctoral fellows). All applications will be reviewed by the Organizing Committee, and invitations to register will follow. Total participation is limited to 50 attendees with rolling application review, so apply early!
A limited number of merit and need-based awards will be provided to trainees to cover their registration fees and up to $1,000 for travel to those not already attending scientific meetings in Seattle before or after SleepCamp. Trainees who submit original abstracts for presentations will be given priority consideration for the limited number of travel awards.
